Cup & Thread began the way many meaningful things do—during a quiet moment in uncertain times.

It started in 2020, just a boy (well, a grown one) and his mom, looking for a creative way to pass time during the pandemic. With no roadmap, we started making things—personalized gifts, little custom ideas. We were novices, figuring it out as we went. We made mistakes. A lot of them. But we learned with each one—adjusting, refining, and finding our rhythm.

What began as a hobby became something more. People started reaching out with their stories, their ideas, their moments—and asked us to help turn them into something meaningful. That’s where we fell in love with custom work: creating pieces that sparked smiles, happy tears, and heartfelt reactions from the people receiving them. That’s still our favorite part.

Today, we’ve grown into a small, family-run business offering both custom creations and ready-to-buy collections—each made with care, intention, and high-quality materials we’re proud to use. We still work from home. We're still grateful for every single order. And we still believe the things we give, wear, and hold should mean something.
